Beginning in December, Star Wars fans will have another reason to visit Disney parks in Orlando, Florida, or Anaheim, California. This is because one of the biggest entertainment companies on the planet has just announced an attraction that promises a “hyper-realistic” experience. Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire is coming to Downtown Disney and Disney Springs later this year. The information was disclosed by Disney’s own blog on the internet, although there are still great details about the attraction.

What we do know is that Star Wars: Secrets of the Empire will transport visitors to a galaxy far away where they will be ready to engage with friends, family and Star Wars characters through senses like sight, sound, touch, Smell and movement. It will be possible to combine the physical and digital worlds into one attraction. “You do not just see the Star Wars universe, you’re part of it here at Disney,” the blog says.

The plans for this groundbreaking experience have been unveiled by THE VOID, a renowned entertainment company in the United States that combines the magic of illusion with 21st century advanced technologies to create immersive and enriching social experiences. Just so, Disney can literally take its visitors to the new worlds of fun. In a statement, Disney also states that Lucasfilme and ILMxLab are collaborating with the development of this unique experience. What remains now is to wait, because more details will be released in the near future, as the blog itself has announced.
