Aquatica, SeaWorld Orlando Water Park, opens in the second quarter of 2018, the Ray Rush that combines three unique sliding elements into one attraction. Ray Rush will have a minimum height of 1.07 meters so that families with children can try out, and will accommodate up to four visitors per float. The new attraction will be located in the North area of the park, next to the Waters Walkabout.
First, visitors will be launched at a speed of 36 km / h by jets of water, which will propel the buoys to the first of many sections of closed tubes. Then they will swirl in a sphere, spinning around their sliding walls, and eventually fall into an open toboggan shaped like a manta ray. The buoys will float back and forth on the stingrays’ wings before entering the last closed tube, which ends in a splash.
To give way to the new attraction, HooRoo Run will close permanently from October 31, 2017. Due to construction, Walhalla Wave will close temporarily on that date and will reopen in the second quarter of 2018 along with Ray Rush.
