Iberostar Hotels & Resorts will inaugurate the first hotel of the network in the Portuguese capital of Lisbon in October of this year. The new five-star property will feature 160 rooms, an outdoor pool, a bar, a spa, specialty restaurants, among others.

The inauguration is part of Iberostar’s expansion plans which announced a series of new openings during this year’s Fitur. During the event, the network stated that it was working on the opening of six new ventures, one in Majorca, Spain, two in Cuba, one in Mexico, one in Miami, the USA, and Morocco, as well as expansion plans for Hotels in the largest capitals in the world, including Lisbon.
