Taking advantage of World Rock Day, Azul has announced that it will put 40 extra flights in operation between September 15 and 25. Extra flights will meet the additional demand of passengers to Rio de Janeiro, who will attend one of the biggest music festivals, Rock In Rio 2017. Complementary operations will involve routes from São Paulo (Congonhas, Guarulhos and Viracopos) and Belo Horizonte Destination to the airports of Galeão and Santos Dumont.

Mesh planning director Daniel Tkacz says that with these additional operations, the airline will be able to give more options to those intending to go to Rio de Janeiro in September. “We are attentive to these demands and we want to assure our customers of travel experience through our recognized on-board and entertainment services,” he concluded.

The National Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC) has already approved the complementary frequencies of Azul for the event period. The additional tickets are already on sale at www.voeazul.com.br, through the callcenter (4003 1118 or 0800 887 1118) or at the airport counter.
