Gol Linhas Aéreas will begin the operations of the second weekly flight between São Paulo (Congonhas) and Jericoacoara (CE) from the end of this year, according to information from the Ceará Tourism Secretariat. The destination cearense debuted its first direct flight and chartered by the CVC on the last day 24, with maximum occupancy, and the new frequency will be regular and operated on Wednesdays.

One of the reasons that encouraged the airline to take the next step was the search for the flight, according to Ceará Secretary of Tourism, Arialdo Pinho. “The flight is in excellent demand. The first one was crowded, the second one too and the occupation for those first months is very good. Therefore, Gol already wants to start the second weekly frequency from the end of this year, “says Pinho, noting that the start of operations at Jericoacoara Airport (also inaugurated on June 24) is of fundamental importance for West Coast tourism Of the state, boosting the economy of the region as a whole.

The secretary was in a meeting with directors of Gol last Friday (30), at which time the new guidelines were defined.
