The Air France-KLM group has announced the Dutch Seth van Straten as the new commercial director for South America, which includes Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay.
Seth van Straten joined the Air France-KLM Group in 2011, having built his career in the Pricing & Revenue Management department.
The executive began his activities in Amsterdam as an analyst, then promoted to manager and continuing as an area consultant in Shanghai for the companies. From March 2015 to 2017, and based in Paris, he became director for the Air France-KLM Group. In January of this year he assumed the commercial direction of the group to South America.
Straten holds a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Twente University in 2006 and a law degree from the University of Amsterdam in 2010, both in the Netherlands, and in 2008 and 2011 he completed his Masters in the same disciplines and institutions.
