Yesterday (19), KLM is launching “The Journey”, an English podcast in which the passengers talk about a journey that changed their lives. KLM is the first airline to use a podcast to display the power of travel. Every episode will focus on a single journey. The podcast will take listeners to different parts of the world, from the snow fields of Alaska to the bustling streets of New Delhi.
“This podcast adds a unique look to our existing communication channels. It’s a great way to reinforce our brand, as it keeps listeners interested in the story for 30 to 40 minutes, “says Natasha van Roode, KLM Marketing Manager.
How it works?
Listeners can download the podcasts at no cost through podcast.klm.com, where basic information about the different episodes will also be available. In addition, “The Journey” is available on major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Google Play. KLM passengers can also listen to podcasts via the onboard entertainment system on long-haul flights.
