Latam Airlines Peru held an inaugural flight between Lima (Peru) and San Jose (Costa Rica), the first time that the group of airlines operated a route to the Central American country.

Latam will offer three flights per week between the two cities on Airbus A319 aircraft, flights will be operated every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday and from March, a frequency will be added on Saturdays, totaling four weekly flights en route.

Both the outward and return flights will offer convenient connections to other flights to and from Santiago, Buenos Aires, Mendoza, Sao Paulo, Rosario, Salta, Tucuman, Cordoba, La Paz, Antofagasta, Santa Cruz, Montevideo and Asunción.

The flight LA2408 departs from Lima at 13:05 (local time) and arrives in San José at 15:55 (local time), with a total duration of 3h50. In the opposite direction, flight LA2409 departs from San José at 5:15 pm (local time) and departs in Lima at 10:05 (local time), totaling a trip of 3h50.
