From February, air travel will be more expensive. The Federal Government has authorized the increase of boarding, connecting, landing and stay fees at Brazilian airports. The tariffs for boarding and connecting flights on domestic flights were adjusted by 4.58%. With the increase, the maximum domestic boarding rate to be paid by passengers will increase from R $ 29.90 to R $ 31.27. Last year, the readjustment had been 7.98%. The new values ​​will become valid in 30 days.

The maximum international boarding rate, in turn, will increase from R $ 115.64 to R $ 118.06. The amount already includes the additional FNAC – sectoral fund created to foster the development of the national civil aviation system, which corresponds to about R $ 60. The ceilings of the warehousing and cargo tariffs were readjusted by 2.94% .

Tariffs at airports under concession follow the same Tariffs remain unchanged at airports operated by concessionaires such as Guarulhos (SP) and Galeão (RJ). According to Anac, the date of tariff readjustment of terminals under concession are determined by contract and are usually corrected between May and July.
