Gol announced this morning (30), the inclusion of more than 800 flights to Argentina, Chile and the Caribbean for this high season of summer. There will be 630 additional operations for Buenos Aires, Rosario, Cordoba and Mendoza, Argentina. The capital, for example, gains additional flights with departures from Fortaleza, Florianópolis, Maceió, Natal, Salvador, Rio de Janeiro and Recife, with new options of days and times. M & E took the opportunity to pass on the novelty with the Commercial Director of Gol, Rogério Guerra.
“Gol is the leader in the transportation of passengers between the two destinations, especially in the high season. We are betting everything on the main international market for the company. So much so that we now open flights to Aracaju, we have increased the frequencies of the high season between Cordoba and Recife now in January, and there is a great desire to further expand the relation between these frequencies, “said Rogério. “From 2018, we started to receive the B737 MAXs and the Argentine market is one of those that we consider to increase the number of frequencies”.
Still according to the Commercial Director, Gol is not satisfied with the results it has today. “For us there is still a huge space to grow. It is sure to be an even bigger bet in 2018, not only in relation to the increase of frequencies, but also linked to the expansion of the structure of the sales team. We are evaluating the possibility of using the Argentine market to fly to other countries in South America as well. ”
