Qatar Airways has announced that it will begin flights to beautiful Chiang Mai, its fourth destination in Thailand, as it expands to meet rising tourist demand for Thai destinations. The new routes arrive to join existing services to the Thai capital, Bangkok, and to the amazing holiday destinations, Pukhet and Krabi.

The new weekly four-frequency seasonal service will operate between Doha and Chiang Mai (CNX) with a large aircraft from December 2017 to May 2018.

The relaxed Chiang Mai offers a way out of the bustle of Bangkok, and is called the “Rose of the North” in recognition of its calm rhythm and lush scenery. Nestled in the middle of the rainforest, Chiang Mai offers its visitors a wonderful and authentic Thai experience with dozens of stunning temples, fabulous restaurants and incredible natural scenery.
