Chile competes as the world’s best adventure destination by the World Travel Awards – also known as the “Oscar” of tourism.
The vote to elect Chile as a leader in adventure tourism is open until October 30. To support the destination, simply access the World Travel Awards website and vote for the country in the World’s Leading Adventure Tourism Destination 2017 category.
Third time
This is the 24th edition of the World Travel Awards and Chile was named one of the nine best adventure destinations in the world after having secured – for the third time – the South American category award. In 2016, Chile also secured the world title.
The countries that compete for the awards are: Australia, Canada, Ecuador, Japan, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Thailand, United States and Chile. The winner will be announced in the grand finale on December 10 on Phu Quoc Island, Vietnam.
