The Dancing on Board, thematic route of the Costa Cruises, arrives at its 15th edition filled with unpublished attractions. For the first time, the cruise on board the Costa Favolosa mega-ship travels through the region of La Plata, visiting the cities of Buenos Aires and Montevideo, and brings a special tango class with Argentine dancer Aurora Lubiz, considered the “tango lady”. She will teach dance techniques with adornments for women.
Another great Argentine name is DJ Vivi La Falce, who plays in the main milongas of Buenos Aires. She will be responsible for dances at alternate times, always in the ship’s atrium. Over the course of eight nights, the 15th Dance on Board brings together more than 50 dance specialists who will teach classes in samba, sertanejo, zouk, bachata, forró, quizomba, samba rock, hip hop, salsa and bolero.
The theme will also be marked by a sertaneja dance competition, by the “Bachata Party”, a special bachata party, Caribbean rhythm that won the South American public, in addition to the traditional and awaited White Night, Luau do Zouk and Festa Brega. Every night, the guest can also participate in simultaneous dances in the dance of Salão, Tango, Sertanejo and Latin Music. The onboard activities are organized by Theo and Monica, who have 22 years of experience aboard the Costa ships.
Carlinhos de Jesus – Cruise reference Dancing on Board, the famous choreographer and dancer Carlinhos de Jesus confirms his participation in the 15th edition and leads a special activity: a waltz with the officers of the ship Costa Favolosa. To accompany them in the dance in celebration of the 15 years of the cruise, the Costa will draw 15 guests. During the trip, Carlinhos de Jesus also commands a samba class in the central pool area.
The 15th Dancing on Board departs from Santos on March 3 towards the region of Prata. The first stop is in Buenos Aires. The ship Costa Favolosa arrives in the Argentine capital on the morning of March 6 and stays in the place until 5:00 pm the next day, March 7. The traveler has, therefore, the opportunity to explore various tourist attractions of the city. The cruise also includes a stop in Montevideo (Uruguay) on March 8 before returning to the port of Santos on March 11.

Ship – The Costa Favolosa has a capacity of 3,800 passengers and includes the Samsara Spa (with gym, thermal baths, swimming pools and thalassotherapy, treatment rooms, sauna, Turkish bath, UVA solarium, cabins and suites); Cinema 4D, Grand Prix simulator, four swimming pools, five restaurants, 13 bars, theater, water slide, casino, sports court and space for children. There are 1,508 cabins in total.
