Disney is constantly changing to appeal to all audiences. Recently, Hollywood Studios announced the news of the new area of ​​”Toy Story Land”. Now is the turn of the new area inspired by the saga “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge”, and Disney has made some news available.

The opening date is set for 2019. “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” at the Disneyland Resort (California) will debut first, and the area at the Walt Disney World Resort (Orlando) shortly thereafter. In “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge,” visitors will leave the reality of the park and enter the planet Batuu, a remote outpost at the edge of the galaxy, one of the old commercial routes, which had its potential ignored due to increased hyper- space.

One of the most anticipated attractions of the new intergalactic aerial will put the visitor in command of the Millenium Falcon, piloting the ship, firing blasters or preparing for hyper space, all to complete a mission.


The second planned attraction for “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge” will put adventurers into a star-destroyer, this attraction will make visitors feel as if they were inside a hangar bay in the middle of a battle between the First Order and the Resistance.

Only one food and beverage item has been announced so far: the blue milk Luke Skywalker made famous in “Star Wars IV: A New Hope”. Expect, therefore, to see characters from a galaxy so, so, distant. Space travelers will find many familiar faces within “Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge”, including BB-8, Chewbacca, members of the First Order, among many others.

Imagineers, as Disney engineers are known, have drawn inspiration from the exotic markets of Istanbul and Marrakech to create the land market where guests can explore a rich collection of shops and commercial stalls.
