In the Dominican Republic there are 26 golf courses framed in spectacular landscapes and that attract experienced and amateur players from all over the world. In addition, holding important tournaments in different categories has made the country a world reference destination for the perfect combination of tourism and golf.

Some of the most important tournaments are: Pro-Am, DR Open Golf, and DR Open Amateur, as well as The Lakes, Puerto Plata DR Open, Caribbean Classic and Caribbean Amateur Golf Championships. In addition, in March of next year the country will for the first time be the seat of the PGA Tour, the main North American circuit of professional male golf.
