The Ethiopian government, through the Department of Immigration and Nationality, together with Ethiopian Airlines, has launched the initial online visa service for the entry of foreign visitors to the African country.

The digital document is made and issued in a single page in which the users register, make the payment and guarantee the visa. With the approval, candidates will receive an email with permission to travel to Ethiopia and, at the destination, will be received with the passport and the visa once they have landed in the capital Addis Ababa.

For Ethiopian Airlines Executive Director Tewolde Mariam, Ethiopia has not harnessed its natural resources and its millennial history to attract more international tourists.
