Delta’s A350 is scheduled to fly by now. The first flight is scheduled for October 30 and will leave Detroit for Tokyo, followed by Seoul on November 18 and Beijing on January 17, 2018.

The aircraft will launch two company products, Delta One Suites in business class and Delta Premium Select, similar to the comfort classes. There will be 32 seats in the executive, 48 in the Delta Premium Select and 226 in the Main Cabin, the economic one.

“The Airbus 350 sets a new standard in the flying experience for our customers, representing years of product innovation while Delta continues to become a leading global carrier,” said Airbus CEO Ed Bastian.

The improvements are part of the airline’s investment in the passenger experience. The modernization of the cabin includes new seats, larger windows, entertainment systems, Wi-fi on most flights, free meal on selected routes and more.

The A350 is part of Delta’s optimization on flights between the US and Asia.
