Ana Airports, which manages Portuguese airports, announced that Lisbon’s international airport is expected to reach 27 million passengers by the end of 2017. The number would represent an increase of 4.5 million, since in 2016 they traveled at the airport Humberto Delgado about 22.5 million.
From January to October this year, there were 22.61 million passengers that traveled at Lisbon airport. The number represents an increase of 19.1% over the same period last year, with 3.64 million more travelers. For the management company, the year of commemoration of the 75 years of the airport will also be “the best year of all” in the number of passengers.
“In the last four years, Humberto Delgado Airport registered an increase of 7.2 million passengers, while in the previous eight years the increase registered was 4.6 million,” Ana Airports announced.
