The Portuguese capital once again contests the title of Best European Destination for the European Best Destination 2018 award. The homonymous organization promotes tourism in Europe and selects the most modern cities to visit on the continent.

With a vote open today (January 18) on February 8, Lisbon will compete for the prize of the best destination in Europe with 20 other cities. Milan, Vienna, Brussels, London, Madrid and Athens are among those indicated.

The Portuguese city was the first to win the title in 2010 and competed again in 2015, losing to the city of Bordeaux. The voting takes place through the site www.vote.ebdest.in.
