According to Diana Pomar, director of the Tourism Promotion Council of Mexico (CPTM) in Brazil, despite the recent incidents in the country, the destination is 100% focused on maintaining its service to the international tourist.

“Our tourist destinations have not been reached. We are all working to welcome the tourists and the Mexican authorities are attentive to the demands of all who need some kind of help. We have to maintain our trust in our destinies and we are very grateful for the solidarity we are having, especially in Brazil, “he said.

Corroborating that fate remains focused on tourists, Mexico has just launched its new global institutional campaign. For Diana, this is an important way to tell everyone that Mexico is ready for tourism and that it continues to encourage travelers to go to their destinations.

Entitulada “Um Mundo em Si”, the new Mexican positioning highlights vibrant experiences, fun, adventure, history and flavors. “Mexico is a world to explore, imagine and feel,” said Diana.

According to the director, the campaign will be customized for each target market focusing on priority segments beyond the sun and beach, such as LGBT welfare, sustainability and gastronomy. The distribution will be made by the 21 tourist offices of Mexico around the world.

MORE CONNECTION BETWEEN BRAZIL AND MEXICO

At the time the new campaign was presented, Mexican destinations took the opportunity to announce some of their news for the coming years. Participated in Riviera Nayariti, Puerto Vallarta, Cancun, Cozumel, Riviera Maya and Los Cabos. In addition to Aeroméxico, which announced the increase from seven to 11 weekly frequencies between Brazil and Mexico, as of December 15.

Another novelty is the alteration of the night flight schedule, which happens to be daytime also on December 15, with departures from Guarulhos at 10 o’clock and arrival in Mexico City at 17 o’clock. The goal is to facilitate connections at the destination.
