The tranquility and the treatment worthy of five star hotel with the warmth of the lodging in a familiar environment. This is the proposal of We Love Gramado, which offers rental of residential apartments in Gramado, Rio Grande do Sul, one of the main Brazilian destinations for leisure in Brazil. Launched in 2017, the portal has been a safe alternative for travel agencies to ensure the success of their customers’ travel.
Today, We Love Gramado manages three buildings for residential housing. The units follow a quality standard, but rely on personal touches from their owners. This is possible because the project is part of the group Urban Index, responsible for real estate developments that unite two interests among buyers: have a place of rest in Gramado and invest in the real estate and tourism market.
“The portal has emerged as a way to facilitate the presentation of our hosting portfolio,” explains Marcelo Veloso, director of the group. “While a slice of the public found us on Airbnb or Booking.com, it was still necessary to break a paradigm with agencies and travel agents that residential lodging can occur smoothly for tourists,” he says.
In order to guarantee this, We Love Gramado is involved in all stages of the visitors’ stay: from arrival to the city, to the entrance to the apartment, daily cleaning, support to eventual needs, among others. The portal also sells packages with traditional tours in the region.
For tourism agencies, on the other hand, the company offers the advantage of expanding the portfolio of services offered, in addition to transfer the commissioning as soon as the first installment is paid by the visitor, as opposed to only after the checkout.
In 2017, We Love Gramado hosted 30,000 tourists. For this year, the company’s expectation is to increase this number by 12% and also to advance the negotiation to manage the rental of apartments of other developers and to expand its operations to nearby cities, such as Canela (RS).
