Royal Caribbean will test for eight months on the Harmony of the Seas, starting September 30, a new rule. The new standard requires that any cruiserweight over 21 years old purchase the Deluxe Drink package if they are sharing a room with another adult who bought the package.

The goal is to prevent tourists from sharing the benefits of the package by paying only one. The Deluxe Drink includes unlimited beer, wine, cocktails, coffee and non-alcoholic beverages. It costs $ 55 per person per day and can be used aboard and on the private islands of the company, Labadee and Coco Cay.

Royal Caribbean is currently one of the only ones that have not yet adhered to this rule. Carnival Cruise Line and Norwegian Cruise Line have already implemented this model.
