For the first time, some of the world’s most famous animated characters will sail on the cruise ship itself with Cartoon Network Wave due to be released later this year. The ship is the result of a partnership between Oceanic Group, one of Asia Pacific’s leading cruise management companies, with Turner, the global media giant behind the Cartoon Network.

“Turner is always looking for new ways to bring our characters to life – Cartoon Network Wave will be a way to do it offshore. The ship has a remarkable potential to offer our fans a truly unique immersive experience as well we could not be more enthusiastic about partnering with the Oceanic Group with this creation, “Turner Asia Pacific president Ricky Ow said.

The Cartoon Network Wave theme cruise will be inspired by Cartoon Network’s popular universe of characters such as “Adventure Time,” “Ben 10,” “Super Powerful Girls,” and “Bears Without a Course.” In addition to the characters, passengers will still have plenty of recreation and entertainment options on board.

It is worth mentioning that the Cartoon Network Wave, which will have a capacity of 2,000 passengers, will depart at the Singapore Cruise Center and will sail to 13 popular destinations in the Asia Pacific region, including: Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Taiwan, South Korea, Australia and Japan.
