The famous and glamorous Parisian hotel, Le Bristol, known for the films in which it appears and for its reputation as one of the best hotels in Europe, pays homage to the great singer of the 1920s.
Dedicating one of the best suites to its name, at the top of the hotel overlooking the Eiffel Tower. With a decoration to remember the exotic sensuality and delicacy of the singer, in shades of cream, sky blue, white, beige and antique rose, a jewelry box covered with silk, cashmere and precious elements.
On the walls, photographs of the artist at Le Bristol Paris during the celebration of the 50th anniversary and in the living room a portrait of Josephine Baker, photographer George Hoyningen-Huene, which refers to the cover of the album “The Best of Josephine Baker” of 1934.
Josephine Baker’s son, Brian Bouillon Baker, reacted with excitement to the tribute, “As a frequent visitor to Le Bristol Paris, I love its Parisian and cosmopolitan atmosphere, refined and generous. This place touches me because it always brings memories of my mother , I am very proud that the Palace has chosen to honor its memory with its first suite dedicated to an iconic personality.
