NYC & Company, New York City’s tourism promotion organization, will promote accessibility at the destination with the launch of a new digital tool. The “Accessible NYC” feature, available on nycgo.com, should help visitors optimize their time when planning experiences in the city.

Accessible NYC, for example, inspiring materials, information on accessible theaters on Broadway, and an accessible calendar of art and culture will be available. The tool will feature an interactive search filter, which allows travelers to find hotels, restaurants, attractions and other activities ordered by specific features that accommodate their mobility, hearing and vision needs.

“New York is the most inspiring and exciting destination on the planet and we believe that the energy and experience of its attractions should be accessible to all visitors,” said NYC & Company President and CEO Fred Dixon. “Our new Accessible NYC guide will help the traveler confidently choose New York City as their next travel destination, further enhancing the message that everyone is welcome.”
